CLASSES

Donnie McClurkin's Perfecting Music Conference (PMC) is committed to Expanding the role of Music & the Arts in Ministry, and to serve as a platform for the advancement of artist, musicians, and ministry leaders. During the conference there will be two types/tracks of classes that you can sign up to attend: 

Ministry Track- The ministry portion educates you on how to partner with Pastors and Churches to enrich their ministries with your talents through workshops/services, and helps to educate you on how music & arts work within your pastor's vision.

Music Track- The music portion of the conference will educate artist and musicians on the current state of the music industry, and how to effectively promote, develop, and maintain their business.

Feel free to mix classes throughout the whole of the conference; You create your own unique experience by choosing what most benifits YOU!

PMC will also enhance community based events by continuing to be a platform for the further education of music and ministry within the community. We also provide a convergence of ministry and music professionals as a resource for the panels and workshops.

The Classes are as follows:


Evangelism

How to more effectively present the gospel and how the gospel is to be shared by all Christians and not just evangelist. Also to better understand what your role is in evangelism.

Church Administration

Learn how to create efficiency for an effective ministry. Understanding church policies and procedures and the limits of copyright and tax laws.

Music/Arts and Pastor

Learn to lead, plan, conduct and evaluate a comprehensive Music and Worship Ministry to work with the vision of the Pastor.

Youth Ministry

Understanding the basic of the youth ministry and which type will be successful for youth ministry and how to effectively involve the youth in the process.

Liturgical Dance

understanding the ministry of dance.

Praise and Worship

Understanding the biblical foundations of Praise and Worship.

Commercial and College Radio

Understanding Radio Promotion and airplay. How to effectively develop a radio campaign and also learn what qualities to look for in a promoter.

Marketing and Branding

Learn the different states of marketing, marketing positioning, branding, the music marketing environment and defining your product and audience.

Record Deals/Royalties and Deal Points

Understanding the key roles in Deal Points and Royalties: the producer, songwriter, publisher, performer, record company, performing rights, and the mechanical rights.

Recording 101

Understanding the basics of recording and a quick look at Pro-tools.

Developing Your Own Label

Learn how to setup a record label. How to choose and trademark a name and logo and learn how to create a successful business image.
